Just try it. I was skeptical at first and assumed that typing in a conversion phrase would be a slow pain, but I realized that its more efficient than all those apps with menus, scrollers, and other non-keyboard interfaces for selecting the conversion type you want. Think about it: youd do the conversion exactly this way if you were using a search engine in your web browser. The beauty and simplicity comes from the fact that you stick entirely to a single interface: your keyboard. Navigating menus and twiddling scrollers just slows you down before you ultimately end up typing on a keyboard or number pad.
Very useful, especially the super fast presets!
I like it for its elegant simplicity. The app delivers the advantages that the dev promises. 3 suggestions: Write detailed step-by-step instructions Add a calculator function Change the " ..." To some other symbol for editing the presets. Though "..." may be aesthetically pleasing, it does not indicate "edit". UPDATE: The dev responded to my suggestions. Regardless of whether he agreed with them or not, acknowledging your customer/audience is both good for business and gracious. convert. is now my go-to unit converter/calculator. 5 stars
